Courage in the face of heart failure and a near death experience with Isabelle Morton

n 2002, heart failure and a near-death experience turned Isabelle Morton’s world upside down. When a heart transplant saved her life three years later, it also reawakened her gift: an innate affinity with healing diamonds and gemstones, and the knowledge of how to apply them. It also gave her the courage to share this information.

In 2010, Isabelle founded the Gemstone Therapy Institute to provide a resource for education, certification, and healing gemstones. Isabelle is the author of 14 books including her memoir: “Accepting Destiny: How Heart Transplant and Near Death Experience Gave Me the Courage to Share Gemstone Therapy with the World.”

Isabelle believes that the body needs more than physical help to heal. It needs to address the underlying energetic causes and contributing factors of ill health. This is what healing diamonds and gemstones can do.

A bicycle accident led Niki French from the corporate world to her true passion – dogs!

Video of interview at bottom of post

This is more than just a story of Niki leaving the corporate world to build a business with dogs. A bicycle accident leaves Niki no longer recognizing herself, and we chat about the fear and doubt that comes with such a transition. Especially after 50!

After 20 years as a successful sales and marketing director in the property induction, Niki set up Twickenham Dog Services and Pup Talk to make a difference to all the dogs and owners she comes in to contact with. She aims to inspire owners with easy games the whole family can learn and play with their pups that make a real difference to their dogs 24/7.

Clothes, Clothes Everywhere and Nothing to Wear

    Video below

Had a great interview with Carol Hanson – Conscious Wardrobe Stylist. And it is not just about what to wear. Carol and I discuss fast fashion, and the impact it has on our environment and people, especially women, in third world countries. We also discussed how a vast majority of women Carol worked with were struggling with body confidence issues.

I think you will really enjoy this episode.

Carol has a program opening up. I recommended you check it out. https://mailchi.mp/carolahanson/minimum-wardrobe-register-interest

A misdiagnosis that almost killed her – Part three and four

These episodes contain subject matter, such as suicidal thoughts and actions, and trauma that may be sensitive to some.

Anne knew she needed to tell her story. On one hand, she want anyone to ever go through the horrible medical nightmare she experienced. More than that, though, Anne wants people to understand how trauma thrives in silence. Until we all speak up and are heard, situations like hers have no chance of amelioration or, more hopefully, never happening at all.

The impact of a bold choice

Are you being true to you?

If you can even dare to ask yourself that question, you are in a good position to actually be true to you.  Even if you think you can’t.

When I hit 40, and was doing some serious contemplation about my life, I would realize just how lucky I was to even have that luxury of thought.  I doubt that my grandmother, after long hard hours on the farm, with all those kids, societal expectations of women during that time, and that drunk of a husband, would have the time, energy, or even the audacity to ask herself that question.

    Be bold with your life

If you are reading this, bold is a choice you can make.  Change is a choice you can make. Take a stance with your life. Don’t let life drag you around by the hair anymore.

Pick one thing right now and get started.

The impact of a bold choice

A quick video I made regarding the bold choice I made to change my life in 2012.

Please note the program talked about at the end of the video is not available at this time, but will be offered again soon!

    40th High School Reunion

My 40th high school reunion happens this summer.

While I have not decided if I am going, it did take me down a path of remembering and impact.

A tale of my high school band director, the impact he made, and the serendipitous way we reconnected.
